Who We Accept Referrals From

We accept referrals from a wide range of sources, including:

  • Individuals referring themselves
  • Family members, friends, and carers
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Social workers and support workers
  • Schools, colleges, and universities
  • Employers and HR teams
  • Charities, community groups, and voluntary organisations

Eligibility

We aim to ensure that everyone referred to Jamila’s Legacy receives the right level of support in a safe and appropriate setting. To access our services, individuals should:

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Be experiencing emotional, mental health, or wellbeing challenges
  • Be willing to engage with support and participate in sessions
  • Not be in immediate crisis requiring emergency or specialist intervention

Our services are designed to provide early intervention, guidance, and community-based support. If an individual requires urgent or specialist mental health care, we will provide appropriate signposting to ensure they receive the help they need.

Contact the referred individual

to discuss their needs and explain our support options

Carry out an initial assessment

to understand their situation and goals

Recommend suitable support

such as one-to-one sessions, group workshops, or wellbeing activities

We aim to respond to all referrals within 3–5 working days.
